When you come in for a consultation, our dentist and team will examine your mouth and determine if SmileDirectClub custom aligners are right for you.

We can get you started with SmileDirectClub clear aligners in just three easy steps! First, we will take 3D images of your mouth. That way, we know exactly what is going on and we can customize your treatment plan specifically to you. Next, you will meet with our dentist to review your images and your detailed treatment plan. You will decide on a schedule for wearing your custom aligners. We recommend 22 hours a day for optimal results. That is one of the perks of clear aligners — they are removable! Lastly, you will receive your custom aligners and schedule regular check-ins to ensure your teeth are moving as planned. You will receive new aligners every few weeks to guide your teeth where they need to move. You will gradually start to see changes in a smile you are going to love!

The typical treatment process lasts four to six months. Once you are happy with your new smile and your treatment plan is complete, we strongly recommend wearing custom-fit retainers. Teeth have a tendency to move back, so wearing these retainers are an extra precaution to make sure that will not happen. We would hate for you to lose that progress!

These aligners are made of smooth plastic that will not irritate your mouth like traditional braces usually do. Keep in mind, these will need to be cleaned regularly to keep them in good condition. If they are not cleaned well, they can become discolored and stained.
